Carla and I will be spending the next couple days in the Bradford Royal Infirmary hospital with Maya. While newborns lose weight after birth normally, she lost a little more weight than expected in the first few days and is a little dehydrated. So we're in the children's ward for observation and re-hydration. She is responding very well to the rehydration so far and blood tests have pretty much ruled out any kind of infection.
