Maya esta destinada a ser estrella! El miercoles pasado, el 17 de Mayo, salimos en el periodico del pueblo con foto y todo. Maya y Carla fueron a un rally para promover la practica de amamantar a los bebes y nos entrevistaron (bueno, entrevistaron a Carla) y nos tomaron foto. En la foto Maya estaba mamando. En este sitio Web http://www.thisisbradford.co.uk/search/display.var.763348.0.mums_get_together_to_do_it_naturally.php se encuentra una copia del articulo. Hacia abajo esta la pequeña entrevista, lastimosamente sin la foto que tomaron. Si logro scannear la foto la pondremos en el blog despues. La entrevista dice que al principio nos costo, pero perseveramos y ahora ya nos va bien. Por esas dificultades me di cuenta porque algunas mujeres desisten, porque si puede ser dificil. Tambien que se asume que darles pacha a los bebe es lo normal, mientras que deberia ser alreves, la leche materna es lo normal. Y al final, que hay algo muy especial cuando uno le da de mamar a un@ bebe. Yo tambien habia dicho, pero no lo pusieron, que lo mas especial es ver a la bebe crecer y saber que la beba esta creciendo solamente con la leche materna que yo le doy. Esa es una satisfaccion increible.

Maya is a media star! Last Wednesday, 17th May, we were in the local paper, photo and all. Maya and Carla went to a Breastfeeding Rally in downtown Bradford and we were interviewed (well, Carla was interviewed) and they took a photo of us, where Maya was feeding. Towards the bottom there is a bit of an interview, though sadly the photo was not placed on the net. If we manage to scan it, we'll add it later. The last bit of the mini-interview was actually me saying that the special thing about breastfeeding is seeing the baby grow and know that it is I, the mom, who is making her grow. Nothing beats that satisfaction.
