!Saludos! Si, desde hace tiempo no decimos nada y es que la vida da vueltas. El 3 de mayo Carla ingreso al hospital de emergencia con dolor gastrico espectacular. Resulto siendo la vesicula y despues de 4 dias regresamos todos a casa. Maya se quedo con Carla y alli seguia mamando y creciendo. Este jueves 18 de mayo Carla regresa al hospital para que la operen y le quiten la vesicula con laparoscopia. Primero Dios todo saldra bien.
Maya sigue creciendo bien. El miercoles 10 de marzo peso ya 11 lbs. 11 oz. y midio 57 cm. Con razon ya cuesta mas cargarla. Ya tuvo sus primeras vacunas y si tuvo reaccion pero no muy mala.

Greetings! Yes, it has been some time since we posted. Life is full of curve balls. On 3rd May, Carla was admitted to hospital with extreme gastric pain. It turned out to be gall stones and pancreatitis and after 4 days we were all back home. Maya stayed with Carla in hospital, kept feeding, laughing and growing. This thursday 18th May Carla returns to hospital for laparoscopy to get gall bladder taken out. We hope that all will be well.
Maya keeps growing and doing well. On Wednesday 10th May she weighed in at 11 lbs. 11 oz. and measured 57 cm. No wonder it is getting harder to pick her up. She also had her first round of immunisations and although she did have a reaction it was not too bad.

Maya empezo a sonreir a las 6 semanas, coincidiendo con la visita de la mamá de Carla. Aqui una serie de fotos de cuando tenia 7 semanas.

Toda la familia fue a visitar el castillo de Skipton, que tiene mas de 900 años de estar parado. Subimos hasta la torre. (23 abril)
The whole family went to visit Skipton Castle, which is over 900 years old. We went all the way to the top of the tower. (23rd April)

Clara, Carla y Maya tambien fueron a tomar tea a Betty's Tea House en el pueblo de Ilkley. Este lugar es reconocido en el pais por su servicio tradicional. Habia que probar las tradiciones nacionales, no? Maya decidio ser muy tradicional y hasta se puso una falda escocesa. (20 abril)
Clara, Carla and Maya also went to Betty's Tea House in Ilkley for afternoon tea service. Betty's is well known all over the country for its traditional tea service. When in England... Maya dressed the part and wore a kilt. (20th April)
