When the going gets tough, the tough turn into fathers. That's how it's felt over the last two weeks.
Carla had a successful gall bladder operation, but a suture needed some help at our favourite hospital. Maya was merciful and fed like a pro from the bottle (previously expressed breastmilk) while Carla was in Narcotica, land of dreams.
Maya may be teething shortly as she is drooling more than a TV executive at a reality TV pitch session. The other big thing this last week was the Maya rolled over from front to back. I don't know who was more surprised; I was definitely the more frightened as she was on the change table. If I can do one thing, I would like to avoid the label of "Daddy dropped the baby."
So here are some photos from today, when Maya turned 12 weeks.
